With more than 27 years of experience in the banking and financial sectors, Mr. Albastaki has worked closely with top companies in the region. He has held key leadership roles across different sectors such as technology, logistics, banking and finance, private equity and real estate. He is currently the Chief Executive Officer and Board Chairman of Amlak Finance PJSC. He also serves as a board member at Aramex, the National Healthcare Insurance Company, Al Salam Bank. and Americana Restaurants International PLC. In addition, he is member of the Advisory Panel at Emaar Hospitality Group. Prior to his board appointments, Mr. Albastaki was selected for several senior managerial positions at renowned financial institutions. He previously served as Head of Amanah at HSBC Bank Middle East, Head of Commercial Banking at Dubai Islamic Bank, a Relationship Manager at ABN AMRO Bank and an Account Manager at National Bank of Fujairah. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance and a master’s degree in International Business.
